MOTHERS’ HELPERS
Meeting of Society
The Mothers’ Helpers’ Society held its monthly meeting yesterday afternoon in the Navy League rooms. Mrs. E. P. Norman was in the chair, and those present included: Mrs. Coleridge, Mrs. F. Ward, Mrs. Darling, Mrs. M. Anderson, Mrs. Winton Brown, Mrs. Guthrie, Mrs. McKibbin, Mrs. M. Reid, Mrs. McFarland, Miss Hilda Miles, Miss Kane. Apologies were received from Mesdames Haligan, C. Miles, A. Barnett. C. Earle, H. Hall, and G. Reid. The bridge party which is to be held next Friday at the Midland Hotel for the society promises to be a great success, and those who have tables are asked to take their own cloths, cards, markers, etc. The Motto Calendar in charge of Mrs. Henry Hall is making good progress also, although there is still room for mottoes and names.
