Mrs. A. Parkinson, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. O. M. Martin Was a Wellington visitor to New Plymouth last week. Miss Auld, Auckland, is on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. H. P. Hopkins has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs. W. Ward, Wellington, has returned from a visit to Napier. Miss Cohen, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. lan Johnston, Lower Hutt. Miss Hatrlck, Wanganui, is the guest of Mrs. Bunny, Woburn Road, Lower Hutt. Mrs. IV. Grubb, of Karpri, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gould, Feilding. Miss Helen Will, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. E. W. Garner, New Plymouth. Lady Duke, who has been visiting Mrs. H. Holland, Christchurch, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. R. L. Macalister, Highland Park, will spend the school holidays at her house in the Sounds. Miss Lorna Fahey, Dannevirke, is at present in Wellington, and will later visit the South Island. Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Bruce, Wadestown, who spent five months in Nelson, have returned to Wellington. _ Mrs. Stanley Wallens will iarrive early next week from Australia on a visit to her parents in Kelburn. Miss Nancy Evans will arrive from Auckland this week, and will be the guest of her parents. Mrs. E. Wright and her small daughter will spend the school holidays at Levin. Mrs. Frank H. Grear, Muritai, who has been visiting Rotorua, will return home on Thursday. Mrs. Henry Hall, Hill Street, accompanied by her neiee, Miss Neave, will leave for Wanganui and the north on Thursday. Mrs. Harold Beck, Christchurch, has arrived in Wellington to meet her husband on bis return to New Zealand after a trip to Great Britain. Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Hobbs-Jones have returned to Wellington after spending a month’s holiday at Weymouth, Auckland. Miss B. Kissllng has arrived in Auckland from Wellington to spend a few days there before sailing for America and Italy. Miss Una Jones, Masterton, who came to Wellington for the golf tournament at Heretaunga, is now the guest of Mrs. P. Thomson, Wadestown. Mrs. Geoffrey Kingscote, who came to Wellington for the autumn foursome golf tournament, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs. Maurice Earle, Wanganui, who motored down with Miss Hatrick, is the guest of Mrs. J. W. Brodie, Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt. Colonel and Mrs. McCarroll have arrived in Wellington, via Blenheim and Picton, with Mrs. Hueston. They have been the guests of Mr. Geoff Ferguson, “Leebrook,” Waiau. -Miss Margaret McNair, who arrived recently In England by the Rotorua, spent a delightful fortnight in the New Forest with Mrs. Hyde Gowan, mother of her fiance, Mr. Christopher Gowan. Miss Adelaide Neave, Okura, Christchurch, and her nelce, Miss Gladys Acton-Adams, Kaikoura, passed through Wellington on their way to Auckland | from where they will leave for a visit to Suva. I
