Coat Caught in Wheel

A Christchurch girl, who fell from the pillion seat of a motor-cycle on Saturday night, had a lucky escape. She was wearing a long skirt and a long light overcoat. The coat caught in the wheel of ttie machine and was torn from her back, but not before she had been dragged from the seat and dropped on tlie roadway.

By the time the machine was pulled up. the slightly hysterical girl was on her feet unhurt, demanding what had happened to the coat.
