No agreement in tlie coal mines dispute was reached to-day at tlie adjourned conference of representatives of the Auckland colliery companies, and the meeting closed without making any arrangement for further negotiations for settlement. A mass meeting of miners will be held nt Huntly to-morrow to take a ballot on the question of resuming work at the Rotowaro, Renown. Glen Afton, and MacDonald mines, which have been idle since April 18.
