Everton beats Manchester

official Wireless. London, April 29. The Association football cup final, plaved at Wembley in the presence of 92,300, was won by Everton, who defeated Manchester City by 3 goals to nil. The Duke of York represented his Majesty who, owing to unsettled weather, was advised to remain at Windsor. The Duchess of York smilingly presented the Cup and medals. It was a typical cup-tie game. Everton were infinitely superior to Manchester, which faded out. This is Everton’s first appearance at Wembley, although it is the second time the team has w,ui the cup.
