LINERS DUE TO-DAY

Maunganui and Monowai Two liners are due at Wellington today with passengers, mails, and cargo. The Union Company’s R.M.S. Maunganui, from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, is, according to her wireless report, due in the stream at 6 o’clock this morning. After pratique has been granted she will berth about 5.30 a.m. at,the Taranaki Street wharf. The Maunganui has on board 33 passengers and brings 546 bags of English and American mail, and 12 American parcel receptacles for 'Wellington. She is to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-mor-row for Sydney, where she is due next Saturday morning. The liner Monowai, en route from Melbourne and Sydney, had not reported by wireless yesterday, but she is expected to arrive here this afternoon. She will berth immediately on her arrival at No. 1 south Queen’s Wharf, where she will be cleared by the Customs and port health authorities. The Monowai has on board 177 passengers and brings 107 bags of mail and 62 parcel receptacles for Wellington. She is to leave here again at 6 p.m. tomorrow for Auckland, from where she will sail next Friday for Sydney.
