ANNUAL REUNION

Women War-Workers’ Assn. NURSES, V.A.D.’s, DRIVERS .. The Women War Workers’ Association, which comprises trained nurses, V.A.D.’s, ambulance drivers, and canteen workers who served overseas, held their annual reunion at the Nurses’ Club, Kensington Street, on Friday evening. The rooms were arranged with vases of bronze chrysanthemums, and the guests were received by Miss Bicknell. A.R.R.C., who was wearing a black georgette frock, During the evening officers were elected for the year, and Nurse Grey sang two delightful songs. The competitions were won by Mrs. Kemp and Miss Whitehorn. Among those present were Miss Willis (who wore a navy georgette frock), Miss Mcßae (black frock), Miss Walker (black lace), Miss Drummond (powder bine lace). Mrs. Ellis (blue chenille), Miss Clark (black frock), Miss Jessie James (wine coloured froek), Miss Clmlmer (black and gold), Miss Moore (oyster crepe). _Miss Cumberworth (black frock), Mrs. Kemp (black frock), Mrs. Corkill (floral taffetas), Miss Mackenzie, Mrs. Houghton. Miss Hitchcock (Levin). Miss M. Hodges, Mrs. Tythe-Brown. Miss Whitehorn. Mrs. G. Sadd, Miss Sugden, Miss M. Mitchell, Mrs. Cameron, and Miss Fabian. The officers elected were: President, Miss Bicknell; vice-presidents. Miss Brandon, Miss Willis, Miss Mitchell, Mrs. Corkill; committee, Mrs. Duncan tttout. Misses Moore, Chalmer, Clark and Sylvia Wilson ; hon. secretary, Miss McRae; lion, treasurer, Mrs. G. Sackl.
