Fine and Pleasant Conditions Although Thursday was dull and muggy, Wellington ' enjoyed perfect weather for Good Friday. The sun shone brightly all day and there was a light northerly breeze. The weather at Christchurch on Thursday was sultry, a strong nor’wester blowing. Yesterday was fine with a north-east breeze. Fine weather continued at Auckland during the past two days. A moderate breeze was blowing from the east-north-east on Thursday and from tne south-west yesterday. Exceptionally warm weather prevailed at Dunedin on Thursday, the thermometer registering 74 degrees. The day was fine but cloudy, and a light north-west wind was blowing. Conditions yesterday were fine and mild in the morning, but the afternoon was showery with a south-west wind.
