CHARGED WITH THEFT
Accused Sent for Trial ' I Dominion Special Service. Masterton, March 10. A charge of stealing 328 totara posts, -160 totara battens, 11 totara angle posts, and a totara strainer post of a total value of £42/12/6, the property of R. F. R. Beetham, was preferred against Michael John Ford, a Masterton carrier, in the Masterton Police Court to-day. Accused pleaded not guilty. After lengthy evidence was heard Ford was committed to the Supreme Court at Wellington for trial.
