WATERLOO BRIDGE
Reconditioning Undertaken (Received Jan. 25, 5.5 p.m.) Official Wireless* Rugby, Jan. 24. A letter from, the Ministry of Transport was read at tbe London County Council meeting to-day which stated that the Government had reached the conclusion to proceed to recondition Waterloo Bridge at an estimated eosl of £685.000. A grant of 60 per cent, of the cost would be made by tbe Ministry. ____________
