SALE OF DEBENTURES

Wharton, secretary of the North Canterbury Hospital Board, who, when speakitig of the sale of debentures in the board’s 51 per cent. £34,900 loan, told a Christchurch “Press” reporter recently that prior to advertising in the newspaper, applications had come in slowly and spasmodically; since advertising. there had been a steady demand for these debentures.
