FIRE AT LEVIN
Dwellinghouse Gutted Dominion Special Service. Levin, Jan, 24. A fire occurred at 1.30 p.m. to-day in a six-roomed house situated in Stanley Street. Levin, owned and occupied by Mr. Meickle. The fire brigade was promptly on the scene, and effected a good save, although the interior structure and the contents suffered considerable damage. It. is not known how the fire originated. The property was insured, but the actual figures are not yet available.
