Fresh east to north-east winds in the far north; elsewhere light to moderate and variable with southerlies prevailing. Seas smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. mnderate Light southerly winds in the eastern Tasman Sea and smooth to moderate Weather for the most part fine with warm day, but moderate night temperatures.
