“Pleasure Bound” on Saturday “.Pleasure Bound,” the big spectacular vaudeeville revue by Frank Neil’s revue company, will make its first appearance here under the direction of J. C. Williamson, Ltd., ou Saturday next at the Grand Opera House. The company presented no less than 54 performances during its season in Auckland, which is a record for that city. His skill as a dancer, raconteur, singer of ludicrous songs and genera] merry-maker is enjonyed al; its best in “Pleasure Bound.” The four daring Diabolos, Continental adagio dancers, electrified playgoers of Auckland by their very thrilling act, and quite a feature, of the production is the work Of Maurice Diamond’s remarkably tine team of ballet girls. Modern ballads are sung by Miss Miriam Lester, who last appeared here with J. 0. Williamson’s company in “The Belie of New York.” She has a delightful soprano voice, Which is beard at its best in “Alice Blue Gown.” Miss Maida Jones is a blonde of many graces who is equally accomplished as soubrette. dancer and comedienne, and Miss Maggie Buckley and Miss Lily Molloy sing and act in numerous sketches. Messrs. Murray and Walton arc two accomplished incentric dancers.
