Special Carillon Recital

A special recital will be given on the National War Memorial Carillon tonight in commemoration of the Battle of the Dogger Bank, which was fought in the. North Sea on January. 24, 1915, and in which H.M.S. New Zealand played a prominent part. Commencing at 8.30, the earillouist, Miss Glady Watkins, will play the following programme:—(l) Half-hour chimes; (2), "Rule Britannia”; (3), "The Golden Vanity”; (4), "Lull me Beyond Three” (1650) ; (5), “Golden Slumbers”; (6), “Tom Bowling”; (7), “The Miller of Dee”; (8), “Home, Sweet Home”; (9), “Heart of Oak”; (10), “Requiem” (Homer) ; (11), Changes on Eight Bells; (12), National Anthem.
