OPAWA LEAVES LIVERPOOL.

Cabled advice has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-ship Opawa left Liverpool last Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland about February 28. The Federal Company are the local agents. AKAROA LEAVES BALBOA. The Shaw. Savill Company has received cabled, advice that its liner Akaroa, en route from London and Southampton to Auckland and Wellington, cleared Balboa last Friday evening. Line motor-ship Port Gisborne reached New York last Friday from London, to load for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, aud She is to clear New York on January 30. THE GOLDEN CLOUD. Burns, Philp and Co., Ltd., have received advice that the O. and O. Line steamer Golden Cloud, which is to leave Los Angeles on February 1, will discharge at Napier as well as at Auckland and M ellington. She is due at Auckland ou February 27. KIA ORA REPLACES MAHANA. The Shaw. Savill steamer Kia Ora is scheduled to leave Liverpool on February 11 for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin, in place of the Mahaua. MATAKANA AT CAPE TOWN, The Shaw, Savill steamer Matakana, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin, is reported to have reached Table Bay last Friday. She is due at Auckland about February 7. TAMAROA’S MOVEMENTS. The Shaw, Savill liner Tamaroa was to have left Pieton yesterday for New Plymouth and Wellington, to complete her Homeward loading. She is due here next Saturday, and is scheduled to clear this port finally at daybreak on February S for Southampton and Loudon; via the Panama Canal. SURREY’S MOVEMENTS. The Federal steamer Surrey was to have left Wanganui ycsterlay for New Plymouth, Wellington and Auckland, to complete her Homeward loading. She is due here next Friday, and is scheduled to clear Auckland finally on February 4 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Dakar. BURDINE’S MAIDEN TRIP. The Oceanic Company’s new liner Lurline is due to leave San Francisco next Friday in continuation of her maiden voyage in the Pacific and the Orient. The liner will call at Los Angeles, Honolulu. Pago Pago and Suva, arriving at Auckland on February 14. She will sail for Sydney two days later.

Full settlement of the Wanganui l.Jarbour Board’s claim of £2259/8/i. for damage done by an accident to the dredge Kaione at Napier last year, was reached at a meeti'ng-of the board last week.
