Experts report that if her bottom is undamaged it will be worth while repairing the burnt-out liner L’Atlantlque at a cost of £2,300.000, or reconstructing at a cost of £2,470,000. If the idea is rejected, they recommend that the hull be placed at the disposal of the navy for experimental purposes and then sunk. • .
