COFFEE FOR TOBACCO
Turkey and Brazil Barter
Constantinople, Jan. 20.
Turkey and Brazil have concluded a three vears’ deal, whereby Brazil -barters £440,000 worth of coffee for the equivalent in Turkey’s tobacco and dried fruits, thus saving the Turkish Government buying foreign currency. Turkey is negotiating similarly with certain European State*.
