Dr. H. E. Gibbs returned yesterday from a trip to Taupo. ■
Dr. Moir, of Auckland Bowling Club, is at present on a visit to Wellington. The Rev. E. Drake, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, has returned to Christchurch.
Admiral Sir Edward Heaton-Ellis, who. with Lady Heaton-EUis, has been staying at the Midland Hotel, has gone to Nelson. Lieutenant-Commander J. C. Elworthy, R.N., is visiting the South Island. He will return to Wellington at the end of the month, en route to England.
