LAUREL BERRY JAM
A Featherston reader has kindly sent the following recipe in response to an inquiry for laurel berry janj:—Gib. of laurel berries, ripe and stoned, Gib. of apples peeled and cored, 91b.-of sugar, one pint water. Bring to the boil and boil two hours. The laurel berries stone very easily, and the apples need to cook up mashy. ,
