Sir Thomas and Lady Sidey, Dun,edin. have arrived in AVelliugton. Mr. Wallace Thompson, Wellington, has been spending his annual holidays with his parents at Tiri Motina. Mrs. 11. AV. William and Miss Zoe Williams, Napier, are visiting Wellington, aud are staying at the Hotel Cecil.

Misses Margaret and Grace Dalton, of Upper Mutt, left by the Wanganella for Milford Sound. Mrs. Alexander, of England, is visiting AVellington, and is staying at the Hotel St. George.

Miss Gwenethe Walshe will ieturn to Wellington to-day after a holiday visit to Rotorua aud Tongariro. Mrs. 11. A. Parkinson has taken over the lease and management of the wellknown boarding establishment known as Sayes Court. Mrs. AV. G. Lamb returned to Masterton on Tuesday, after a short visit to Mrs. AV. T. Grundy, Hawker Street. Canon and Mrs. Percival James, Bolton Street, have returned from a holiday at the Sounds. Mrs. D. J. Malone and her daughter, Aliss Molly Malone, are visiting AA’ellington and are' the guests of Miss AVhelan, Oriental Bay. Miss Patricia Nelson, who is with Mrs. Charles Nathan, Mayfair Flats, will return to AVdodville to-day.

Miss Gladys Cameron, Palmelston North, is the guest of Mrs. C. Gerrard, AVinton.

Mrs. J. S. Barton aud Miss Barton, Lower Hutt, will leave for Napier tomorrow for a short holiday. Dr. aud Mrs. AVhitton, who recently retutrned from England, have been staying at Caulfield House.
