New fire plug indication posts har« been erected by the Upper Hutt Borough Council. Annual licenses collected by the I’etone Borough Council during December amounted to i'2l/16/-. This total was made up of £lu/10/- from motor drivers* licenses, and £ll/6/- from miscellaneous sources. LOWER HUTT SPORTS Keen Contests Provided Sporting events were keenly contested at the weekly meeting of the Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic Club, on Monday evening. Next Monday being Anniversary Day, the meeting will be postponed until January 30.
