Vice-Regal Visit TROPHIES PRESENTED Dominion Special Service. • Bulls, Jan. 16. His Excellency the Governor-General, Lord Bledisloe, and the Lady Bledisloe, paid an informal visit, to Boys' Flock House at Parewanui, Bulls, on Saturday. Their Excellencies, with Lieutenant Elworthy, R.N., A.D.C., were motored from Wanganui by Mr. T. R. Lees (managing trustee), arriving shortly after 11 o’clock, and were met by the principal, Colonel C. G. I’owlcs, C.M.G., D. 5.0., and the matron, Miss M. Samson. Others in attendance were Messrs. J. Linklater. M.P., G. L. Marshall, of Turakina, and A. Sutherland, Palmerston North, trustees. Mrs. T. Birch, Mr. J. G. Mitchell, farm manager, Mr. V. S. Pointon, housemaster, and Major F. G. Hume, secretary. Mr. Edward Newman. C.M.G., chairman of trustees, was unavoidably absent.

Their Excellencies conducted a tour of inspection of the Flock House station. Lord Bledisloe evincing a keen interest in the stock and appointments. His Excellency, after addressing the trainees, presented the Barraud and Armstrong Cup for swimming to D. A. M. Hamilton, the Sir James Allen Cup for shooting to J, F. Girvan, and pairs of spurs to M. J. F. Griffin and D. Aiderton for essays on the Manawatu show.
