DAMAGE TO ENGINES
Filings in Oil Fillers TWO BUSES AFFECTED Dominion Special Service. Masterton, Dec- 14. The proprietor of a Mastertou-Car-terton bus service, Mr. A. fenelgrove, is the victim of a mean action. Some unknown person placed iron filings in the oil filters of two of his buses causing considerable damage to their engines. It is believed that Mr. Snelgroves garage at Carterton was enteied and the offence committed there. The garage is kept locked, but there is a hole in the building provided for the benefit of Mr. Snelgrove’s dog, which is big enough to admit a man.
