OPIUM SMOKING
Owner of Utensils Fined CHINESE GARDENER By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 14. A Chinese market gardener, Wei Chung, aged 31, was fined £4O in the Police Court to-day for being in possession of utensils for use in smoking opium. Evidence was given that many Chinese visited defendant’s house to smoke opium.
