AHEAD OF TIME
Mrs. Mollison’s Progress (Received Dec. 15, 0.40 a.m.). London, Dec. 14. If Mrs. J. A. Mollison (Amy Johnson) maintains the speed indicated by the latest messages received through Paris she will-probably beat her own outward flight record. Preparations are being made at Croydon for her reception. Her failure to arrive at Duala on schedule time in her flight from Cape Town to Croydon caused some anxiety. She cabled from Duala to her husband, “Unlucky again; cannot arrivd on Wednesday.” Fog had delayed her, but she left for Gao, 1000 miles northwest of Duala. She arrived at Gao at 5.30 p.m., nearly a day ahead of the record. She hopes to resume at 3 a.m.
