DROWNED IN CREEK
Went for a Drink By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ashburton, Dec. 14. The body of Geoffrey William Deal, aged 66, married, was found floating in a creek on his farm at Eiffelton last evening. Marks on the banks indicated that he slipped when he went for a drink. He was subject to fainting turns. Tbe discovery was made by Mr. Deal’s sou, who went out at dusk to look for him.
