TRANSPORT CONTROL
Co-ordination of Services BIG SAVING IN MILEAGE By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui, Dec. 14. The co-ordination of 5.0.5., Hodsons, Martin and Vernon, and Napier owner-drivers of motor services was granted by the Central and No. 5 District Licensing Authorities at Wanganui to-day. The decision is considered a forecast of what will occur in the Dominion next year. It is estimated there will be a saving of 500,000 miles and £15,000 a year, which will be passed on to the public. The authority was pleased to see licensees submitting a scheme, and considered it would serve as an incentive and example to the Dominion.
