Chief Justice Extols Work CREDIT TO ANY TOWN By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Dec. 13. Warm praise for the progress'Napier is making toward complete recovery from the earthquake disaster was expressed. by his Honour the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, at the opening of the Hawke’s Bay Adjustment Court in Napier this morning. Voicing the pleasure felt by himself and his associates, Messrs. L. O. H. Tripp and H. F. von Haast, at the change which had taken place since their last visit, his Honour said: “It is four months since Mr. von Haast and I were last in Napier and six months since Mr. Tripp was here, and we are all as delighted, as we are astonished, at the progress which has been made in Ihe restoration, and not only in the restoration but also in the beautifying of this fine little own of yours. “The improvements which have been made on the waterfront are attractive and delightful, and the buildings which are being ereqjted would be a credit to any town in New Zealand.”
