No Wasps After All
Dr. W. A. Alexander, Takap.au. writes: —."Ke my letter about importing wasps, I am glad to. hear that this is not intended. At the same time as I wrote to “The Dominion” I wrote to the Auckland “Herald,” and in the letter to them suggested how much better it would be to import some form of ichneumon fly. I am glad to see this is what is really going to be done, lhe fly mentioned being quite a different thing to a wasp, being harmless and, in fact, not a wasp at all in the ordinary sense of the word.”
