Since last September the Island Bay Inter-Church Relief Committee has assisted an average of 72 homes a week with food supplies, aud in all there have been 650 ration issues. A total of 45 bags of coal and coke were distributed. The clothing depot has distributed 1000 articles free of charge, and 7S articles were disposed of at half-price. The committee’s receipts since last February totalled £231/7/10, and expenditure was £214/8/10.
