AUSTRALIAN TRADE Union Cargo Service _ The following are the movements o£ Union Company vessels engaged in its intercolonial cargo service:— The Gabriella, from Newcastle, was to have left Sydney on Saturday .for Wanganui, where she is due next Thursday, thence to Westport and Greymouth, to load for Melbourne. The Kairanga is to leave Sydney on Wednesday for Auckland, thence to Geelong to load for Auckland. The Kalingo, from Newcastle, is due at Napier next Friday, thence to Gisborne, to complete discharge. She will then proceed to Greymouth, to load for Brisbane and Sydney. The Kanna was to have left Newcastle on Saturday for Wellington and Miramar, and is due here next Friday. The Karepo is to leave Greymouth on Thursday for Melbourne, thence to Adelaide, Edithburg, Melbourne, and Hobart, to load for Bluff. Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington, aud Auckland. The Karetu. from Auckland, is due at Newcastle on Wednesday, theuce to Sydney, to complete loading for Fiji and Auckland. The Kiwitea, from Adelaide. Edithburg, and Melbourne, via New I J lymouth, is due at Auckland to-day, thence to Napier and Wellington, to complete dis charge. She is due here about Friday. The Waikouaiti left Bluff on Saturday for Sydney, thence to Newcastle and Sydney, to load for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru. aud Lyttelton. The Wainui, from Wellington, via Bluff, was due at Melbourne on Saturday. She will leave there again next Wednesday, for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and is due here on December 22. The Wainui will lay up at Wellington for survey and overhaul. She is to resume again on December 30, leaving here on tliat date for Melbourne, via Lyttelton and Bluff. lONIC DUE THURSDAY. Radio advice has been received that the Shaw, Savill liner, lonic, en route from Southambton, is expected to make Wellington next Thursday afternoon. PORT HUNTER IN PORT. To continue discharge of her New York cargo, the C. and D. Line steamer Port Hunter is due at Wellington this morning from Auckland, and will berth at the King's Wharf. Her South Island cargo will also be discharged at Wellington. The Port Hunter is to leave here again tonight for New Plymouth, to complete discharge and to commence her Homeward loading. MONOWAI DUE TO-MORROW. The Union Company’s liner Monowai. from Melbourne, did not leave Sydney until 10 p.m. last Friday for Wellington, and is now due here at 7 a.m. to-morrow. She will leave here again next Friday on the return trip to Sydney. MAKURA DUE 6 A.M. TO-DAY. From San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, the Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura is due in the stream at Wellington at 6 a.m, to-day. She will berth about 8.30 a.m. at the Taranaki Street Wharf. The Makura is timed to leave here again at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney, where she is due next Saturday morning. HUNTINGDON IN PORT. To continue her Homeward loading to the agency of the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Federal steamer Huntingdon is due at Wellington early this morning from Auckland, and will berth at the Glasgow Wharf. She is to leave here again on Wednesday for Tokomaru Bay and Napier, to fill up, and is scheduled to clear the last-named port finally on December 23 for London, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Dakar. YOSERIC AT AUCKLAND. The Bank Line steamer Yoseric reached Auckland on Saturday morning from Makatea Island. She has phosphates for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, and Raveusbourne. OTOKIA RESUMING. The Union Company’s motor-tanker Otokia, which has been laid up at Wellington for some months, is to leave here next Saturday for San Pedro, via Auckland, to load bulk fuel oil for Wellington. AORANGI AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company's motor-liner Aoraugi, from Sydney, is due at Auckland early this morning. She will leave there again at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Suva, Honolulu, aud Vancouver, where she is due on December 29. PORT BRISBANE LOADING. The C. and D. Line steamer Port Brisbane reached Bluff on Saturday afternoon from Sydney, to commence her Homeward loading. She .is to leave there again tomorrow for Gisborne, Napier, and Wellington. to complete, is due here on December 29, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on January 3 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. WAIHEMO REPORTS. The Union Company has received a wireless message from the Waihemo. en route from Los Angeles to Auckland. Napier. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australia, via Papeete, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland at 6 a.m. today. She is due at Wellington next Thursday, to discharge the local portion of her cargo. ECHO RESUMING. The auxiliary scow Echo, which has been undergoing repairs on the Patent Slip, came off the slip on Saturday morning. She is to resume her running, leaving here to-uight for Blenheim. RANGITANE’S MOVEMENTS. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangitane reached Lyttelton yesterday afternoon from Napier to continue her Homeward loading. She is now due at Wellington next Sunday to complete and is scheduled to clear this port finally on December 23 for London, via the Panama Canal. SOUTH AMERICAN FOG SIGNAL. The Marine Department advises that a fog signal will be established in the Isla de Lobos shortly. The position will be lat. 35deg. 02min.. longitude 54deg. 53 min. W. (apnroximately).
