Speeches to be Broadcast UNVEILING ON WEDNESDAY (Received Nov. 20, 6.30 p.m.) London, Nov. 20. The unveiling of the Port Said War Memorial on Wednesday will be broadcast to Australia and New Zealand. The speeches will be transmitted by land-line to Cairo and from there sent by wireless to London and on to Sydney and Wellington, where they will be received at approximately 11 o’clock at night. The Anzac Memorial has been erected on the bank of the Suez Canal at Port Said. It is a handsome bronze group, the last word of the famous British sculptor, the late Sir Bertram Mackennal, and depicts a New Zealand and an Australian soldier charging with fixed bayonets.
