Work on Water front .OVERSEAS VESSELS Eight Due This Week The Wellington waterfront will be busier this week than it has been for many months past, no fewer than six big overseas vessels and two tankers being due in the course of the next few days, while the C. and D. Line motor-ship, Port Dunedin, now in port, will swell the total to nine. The Federal steamer Norfolk Is due to-morrow from Wanganui to complete loading for London, Glasgow, Liverpool and Avonmouth. On Wednesday the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor-liner Rangltane is due from London via the Panama Canal, and the same company’s Tasmania from New Plymouth to load for London. The Shaw, Savill liner Mataroa and the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-ship Otaio are both due on Thursday from Auckland, the Mataroa to load for London, and the Otaio to discharge cargo from Glasgow and Liverpool. The Huddart-Parker steamer Zealandia, due on Friday from Sydney, and the tankers Ampullarla, from Balik Papan and Vacuoline from San Francisco, both due to-day or tomorrow, complete the list The waterfront this week will consequently present a far busier appearance than it has done for at least six months.
