Looking Your Best USING CORRECT POWDER An expert at a Bond Street beauty specialists, states that if women wish to look their best during the summer in the fashionable tones of blue they will adopt a delicate make-up. A faint powder, with a blush-rose rouge and matching lipstick, will be the correct cosmetics for almost every complexion. Blues throw a yellow shadow on to most skins, except those of extremely fair people, and in every case reflect a shade under the eyes. The very fair woman may wear a very light tan make-up with the new blues, but the woman with the dark skin will be wrong to use more than a delicate make-up. The sunburn shades of powder and the darker tones of lipstick and rouge are only correct with country clothes or seaside wear. Women with very fair hair and dark eyelashes and eyebrows are being advised that it is more becoming to bleach the eyebrows very slightly, while the eyelashes should be made up in the ordinary way.
