WELLINGTON CAMERA CLUB

“Street Scene” was the subject of the monthly competition at the Wellington Camera Club, 15 pictures being hung. Mr. P. N. Bentou, president, was in the chair. -Mr. J. K. Mackay constructively criticised the pictures, giving his ideas on the interpretation of the subject, followed by several other members, and much useful information was elicited. The result of members’ voting was a-; follows: —A section: Ist and 2nd, Mr. J. W. Johnson; 3rd, Mr. K. J. Searle. B section: Ist, Mr. L. Powell. C section, Ist, Mr. J. C. Tunnington. Mr. Tunnington was congratulated on the good quality of his initial entry. Notice of an outing to Otaki was given, also of the coming lantern lecture by Mr. P. N. Denton, on “A Visit, to India.”
