AID FOR FARMERS
Australian Provision Canberra, Nov. 18. The Federal Ministry has decided to vary its plans for assisting the wheatgrowers. For direct assistance to wheatgrowers in- financial difficulties the sum of £2,000,000 will be made available instead of the £1,250,000 previously proposed. A further amount of £250,000 will be used to help primary producers other than wheatgrowers in the purchase of superphosphates.
