Women’s Institutes’ Exhibition • An intensely interesting exhibition of articles made from New Zealand materials will be held by the women s institutes of New Zealand next M ednesday, in the Dominion Farmers Institute. Her Excellency the Lady Bledisloe juts consented to open the exhibition at 3 p.m. Some of the goods to be displayed are remarkable both for their originality and their excellent execution. Toys made from sheepskin are to be a feature. Other attractions will be a rug made from wool and another made from old felt hats, a dolls’ house, work basket, a pine needle basket, a papier mache jointed doll, shopping bags made from old inner motor tubes, and numerous other fascinating things. There will be a demonstration of spinning and of mattress making from sheeps’ wool also. The exhibition will last for two days.
