Society for Their Protection The following members of the committee of the Society for the Protection of AVomen and Children were present at the recent meeting: Mrs. Hunter, president, Alesdames Harley Brown, Chatfield, Forde, Glover, Line, Alontgoinery, O’Shea, Peryman and Aliss Telfer. A large number of new cases received careful consideration, and iu addition to the ordinary business various matters of public interest were discussed, such as the improvement of the films shown in New Zealand.
