Financing Public Works EUROPE AND NEAR EAST Paris, Nov. 16. An English, French, and German bankers’ consortium, capitalised at £136, million, is financing public works in Europe and the Near East. England and France finance 40 per cent, each, and Germany 20 per cent. Work is allocated in the same proportion. The headquarters are in France.
