CHILDREN’S THEATRE
The Children’s Theatre Players have been working very energetically at their production “Dick Whittington,” which will be presented at the Concert Chamber next Saturday afternoon and the following Saturday also. The dancing animal on the magic island is sure to cause many laughs, while everybody will follow with interest the adventures Cf Dick and bis faithful black cat. There are many songs and dances, lively pirates and South Sea Islanders, and pretty fairies. When the magic island is over-run by a plague of horrible rats, Dick’s cat comes to the rescue and saves all there from starvation.
Miss I’utuam is in charge of the music ,and has assisting her Aliss Rene Lewis (violin), Aliss Orrni Reid (’cello). Air. Colledge is in charge of the lighting, and Air. F. 11. Dawn is again the director, and Beryl Earle is the producer.
