AEROPLANE LOST
Occupants Found in Channel
London, Oct. 30.
A German air mail freighter carrying a pilot and mechanic which left Croydon in a gale at 8 p.m., sent an S.O.S. call at 9.37 p.m., not indicating its position. The men were rescued by a steamer In the English Channel. The aeroplane has not been traced.
