PASSENGERS ON BUSES
Increase in Koro Koro Service Advice that the passenger traffic on the Koro Koro bus service had shown a slight increase during the last four weeks, was received from the manager of the New Zealand Railways by the Koro Koro Progressive Association, and forwarded to the Petone Borough Council last evening. The manager intimated that in view of the increase, it had been decided to retain the present timetable in the meantime. It was intended to keep a record of the daily traffic, and in view of the fact that the present license would expire on February 28, 1933, the patronage accorded the service would have a very direct bearing on deciding whether the department would be justified in applying for a renewal, and also the extent of the service warranted.
