PARTY FOR MRS. GILBERT
Mrs. T. G. Gilbert, who is leaving Wellington to make her home in South Canterbury, has been the guest of honour at numerous bridge parties and teas lately. Mrs. V. R. Gunn and Mrs. W. Simm arranged a delightful morning tea at the D.I.C. The tables were most artistically decorated with purple stocks and anemones, and were much admired. Among those present were Mrs; F. V. Waters, Mrs. Todd, Mrs. Forgie, Mrs. S. W. Hogg, Mrs. Burnett, Mrs. H. E. Hart (Samoa), Mrs. G. H. Scholefield, Mrs. Kemble Welch, Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Clabburn, Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Guthrie, Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Newham, Mrs. W. W. Bird, Mrs. Stanley Fcarn, Mrs. Laing.
