CAT AND KITTEN FOUND
1 Tail-Waggers’ Club Takes Charge While churchgoers were walking along Lambton Quay yesterday morning, a black and white Manx cat was to be seen endeavouring to carry a very young kitten along. The little chap had all the appearances of having -been carried some distance as the mother was dragging it along. Sorting out a woman from the passiers-ky Mrs. Manx endeavoured to explain the trouble she was in. The woman was worried. for she lived at Lowry Bay, and did not know what to do with the cat and her offspring. Being on the way to church she felt it might be out of place to take them there. A few minutes passed, then a man approached, and hearing of the trouble, slaid, “Take them to the TailWaggers’ Chib.” The advice was taken. The club will be glad to hear from the owner of the cat as soon as possible.
