A SAUCY HAT
of a Spanish peasant, is a wash drawing, and has a background of quaint sun-covered bouses with a strong figure in the foreground—a striking piece of work. Several pencil still-life sketches are worthy of mention, especially a glass bottle study, the texture of which is exceedingly fine. The exhibition will be open the whole of next week, and is indeed a splendid example of industry and talent.
