A WALLET PURSE

To make this pretty little purse all you need is some wool, a pair of fine knitting needles, and some threads of another coloured wool. To make it, cast on 30 stitches and knit plain for about eight inches. When you have done this, cast off (diagram

A). Now fold over a third of your length of knitting and sew up the sides, leaving unsewn.enough for a flap. Now put a monogram and embroidery in lazv- daisy stitch on the flap, and a press stud fastener. It will be still more attractive, and will last longer if you line it with a scrap of silk or ri >- bon- _____
