STRUCK ON THROAT
A Wood-chopping Fatality Dominion Special Service. Palmerston North, Oct. 28. When engaged in chopping wood at his residence at Marton Junction ■ this evening Gilbert Hutchins, aged about 50 years, an employee of the Marton Gasworks, was struck on the throat by a flying fragment of wood. The injured man was attended by a doctor, but died within half an hour of receiving his injury.
