AIRMAN’S QUEER LUCK
T lEUT.-COMMANDER FRANK J WEAD, who wrote “Airmail,” “Dirigible.” and “Hell Divers,” and who has had a virtual corner on all important aviation screen stories, flew for years for the American Navy, laid mines in tho North Seas, and generally risked his neck, only to break it in a prosaic tumble down a flight of stairs. The accident forced him to give up flying and he turned his talents to writing about bis experiences. “Airmail” will be released here shortly, and has Ralph Bellamy and Gloria Stuart in the leading roles.
