WORKLESS MARCHERS
Communist Inducement ASSEMBLY IN LONDON Official Wireless. Rugby, Oct. 24. Parties of unemployed from several parts of the country who are expected to reach London on foot within the next few days were the subject of questions in the House of Commons. The Minister of Health, Sir E. Hilton Young, said that the duty of making necessary arrangements for the accommodation of these people, who had been induced by Communist' organisations to leave their homes and proceed to London, rested with those responsible for such demonstrations. In event of their failure to do so, application could be made by individuals in need to the public assistance authorities, but it would not be the duty of those authorities to facilitate those demonstrations by making special arrangements.
